1. Bring your items in for evaluation
The first step in finding out what your pieces are worth is to bring them in to us for assessment. Our office is located at:
Suite 12A, Level 5 the Dymocks building
428 George Street
We are open from 10am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 11am to 3pm on Saturday.
2. Testing and valuation performed in front of you
We use state-of-art technology to test the amount of pure precious metals in your pieces. Our XRF machine analyses the spectrum of light reflected from your item to calculate the purity of the metal.
Once we have established the purity, or carat of your piece, we weigh it to find out the exact amount of pure precious metal in your piece. Combining this amount with the current spot price, we provide you with an appraisal of what your piece is worth. If your item contains stones, you can decide whether or not you wish to sell these along with your metal or not. We will remove your stones for you free of charge.
3. Collect cash immediately
With a clear understanding of what your pieces are worth, you can then decide whether or not you wish to sell them to us. We do not charge a fee for our assessment. You are under no obligation to sell your pieces.
If you do decide to go ahead and sell your pieces, we will give you cash on the spot for your items. So you can walk in with your old, broken pieces and walk away with fresh cash in minutes!
